Mizen Head is a must see!  It's about a 2 hour drive from Cosgrove Cottage.  The rock formations are absolutely stunning.  

There is a Visitor Center, Cafe, Signal Station Museum and a  150ft high foot bridge spanning 172 feet across.

A tour around the Dingle Peninsula.  Stop at the Blasket Island Museum near Dingle.

Charles Fort, Kinsale is about 2 1/2 hours from the Cosgrove Cottage.  Fishy Fishy Restaurant has good seafood.  

Stop at the De Barra Folk Club in Clonakilty on the way back.
